We are a family run business serving Essex, Suffolk and Norfolk
We are registered Beekeepers and fully qualified and insured Tree Surgeons. We also carry out volunteer work for the Woodland Trust as part of our drive to help preserve England’s natural heritage. We are constantly expanding our knowledge of Bees and Trees, by taking courses and reading the latest publications.

We own an ever increasing number of bee hives which are sited in various locations in Suffolk. The honey flavours produced depend wholly on the plants in season in the locality to where the hives are sited. Once the honey has been harvested we are able to put to good use the remaining comb and wax, producing a range of natural products and gifts, nothing goes to waste!
Pollination by bees is important for genetic sustainability. Without bees, there would be no more pollination, no more plants and no more animals.

We provide a swarm collection service (Council recommended). Click on the link at the top of the page for further details. It is vitally important not to destroy our bee population as their numbers are declining. If the bees have to be removed they will always be re-homed. However, if you are comfortable living alongside your new found neighbours we can provide information and advice.
Henham Bees & Trees also offers an additional service of Aerial Pet Rescue, so if your cat is stuck up a tree and refusing to come down, we can help, just give us a call.
Fully Qualified
We, at Henham Bees & Trees take Health, Safety and the Environment (HSE) very seriously, therefore we have a qualified HSE Advisor on hand to assess and oversee that projects are conducted in line with current HSE guidelines.
At Henham Bees & Trees our staff are experienced Tree Surgeons and City & Guilds NPTC / Lantra qualified.
We take great pride in our work ensuring your safety at all times and safe guarding against any damage or loss to your property and/or neighbouring properties.
Staff are trained in First Aid and Aerial Rescue.
Fully Insured
Henham Bees & Trees are fully insured to carry out tree work from working at ground level to working at height, so you can rest assured you’re in safe hands. We hold public liability insurance for up to £5,000,000.

Before starting work a risk assessment is carried out and a toolbox talk is conducted as required. Method statements can be provided upon request.
